• When: Saturday, March 22 at 5pm

• Where: SOMARTS – Same fabulous location we’ve loved for the past two years!

• Who: Parents, teachers, and community members (21+) who love Rooftop!

• What: Rooftop’s BIGGEST fundraising event of the year, contributing 50%+ of our PTA budget - at both campuses!!!

 

What to Expect:

• Dance: fun DJ’s and music to get you moving! 

• Fun & Games: Snap pictures, play games, laugh, and enjoy general merriment.

• Catering: Delicious food, specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and desserts.

• Unique Experiences: Rooftop-exclusive Count-Me-In Parties and Rooftop’s Own available to bid on.

• Silent & Live Auctions: Exciting items like sports tickets, entertainment packages, classroom art projects, vacations, and more.

 

Dress Code:

March Madness theme! Wear your favorite sports team gear, athleisure, or team colors – whatever makes you happy!

 

How You Can Help:

1. Buy Your Tickets Now: Early Bird tickets are only $45 through Valentine’s Day.

2. Volunteer: Help make the night amazing! Volunteer opportunities are listed in ParentSquare and the Weekly Bulletin, or email auction@rooftopk8.org.

3. Donate: Can’t attend? Contribute by donating items, funds, or your time before or after the event. Monetary donations at the ticket link, and email donations@rooftopk8.org to make product and gift certificate donations.

FAQs

• Where does the money go? The auction funds essential PTA programs like art, library, sensory motor, garden and outdoor education, and more—programs not covered by SFUSD. We raise funds this year to support next year’s budget.

• Do I have to buy a ticket in advance? YES! Advance ticket purchases help us plan food and drinks and ensure we don’t run out of space. Plus, Early Bird tickets save you money!

• What does my ticket purchase cover? Tickets are priced to cover event expenses like venue rental, auctioneer, and IT support—anything we can’t get donated.

• Do I have to spend a lot at the event? Absolutely not! Enjoy the night as a celebration of our community. Bid if you’d like, but come for the fun, food, and friends.

• What’s the difference between the online and live auction? The online auction happens before the event and features items like gift certificates and tickets. The live auction at the event includes classroom art projects, vacations, and unique experiences.
