Grades TK-8

Our mission is to provide students with frequent access to our collections, to promote the joy of reading and the delight in exploring personal interests, and to instruct students in the appropriate use of both print and electronic resources, empowering them with skills to be intelligent users of information.

Teacher Librarians

Twin Peaks Library (TK-4) in Bungalow B26

Mayeda Library (5-8) in Room 301

Ms. Collins provides a library program at each campus. All students visit the library with their classes for information literacy lessons, browsing and book borrowing. Students at each campus are invited to use the libraries during their lunch periods and after school. Parents are welcome!

Donations and Birthday Book Club

A great way to support our libraries is to donate a new book in honor of your child’s birthday or other special occasion.  A bookplate acknowledging the child is placed in the book and the books are enjoyed for years to come. Donate a new hardcover book of your choice or we have a wish list at Amazon.com.

Parent Library Volunteers

The library programs at both campuses are greatly enhanced by dedicated parent volunteers who help with check out procedures and re-shelf books. It is a fun and easy way to get involved. New volunteers are welcome and no experience is necessary. The librarians will show you everything you need to know. Please contact our librarian or your child’s teacher, and they will be happy to get you started.
