6th through 8th grade students are invited to the only San Francisco K-8 schools’ SAFE, FUN and MEMORABLE 14th Annual Unity Dance on Friday March 1, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at The Hall of Flowers, San Francisco County Fair Building (corner of Lincoln and 9th Avenue in Golden Gate Park).
School Planning Summit (Sat, 3/02)
On Saturday, March 2, members of SFUSD school communities are invited to attend the annual School Planning Summit, which provides useful information and resources to members of School Site Councils, advisory committees, and general school communities. The Summit will take place at Everett Middle school (450 Church St.) from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you haven’t done so already and you are able to, I urge you to vote on or before Tuesday, November 6. There are many propositions on the ballot that will have a significant impact on our community. Two specific propositions, Proposition 30 and Proposition 38, are directed at school funding.
