For the past two years, Rooftop’s Clay Coordinator, Miki Fujiwara, has been sharing fantastic arts learning with our students. Miki has announced that at the end of this school year, she will be stepping down from her position to return to her own art-making. We are so grateful to her dedication to our students and we thank her for the hard work and creativity that she has given to our community!

Rooftop’s Administration and Art Committee are seeking applicants to serve as a Teaching Artist/Clay Manager at school, as well as seeking other candidates to shadow Amy Balsbaugh in her role as Art Parent Coordinator. Amy is not stepping down from her position at this time, but is looking for someone to job-share with her over the next year or two to allow for a smooth transition for when her family moves on from Rooftop to high school.

These are great opportunities for any member of our community who loves art and working with children, and who would enjoy serving our students and school in a creative and meaningful way. To be considered for either of these positions, please submit a resume to Mr. Burgos | by Wednesday, April 24th.
