Hello Rooftop Sports Community!

Most of you may already know me, but if not, my name is Christian McMurray and I am the Athletic Director for Rooftop Middle School.  If your child would like to tryout for any of the sports teams this school year, you will have to complete the paperwork that I sent at the end of the last school year.  If you didn’t get it, I’ve attached the forms below.
The sporting events that we currently compete in (in order) are as follows:
(Please note the change for Boys Soccer from Winter to Fall)
-Baseball (mid August thru September)
-Softball (mid August thru September)
-Boys Soccer (mid August thru September)
-Boys and girls Basketball (October thru November)
-Girls Soccer (mid November thru mid January)
-Girls Volleyball (mid January thru February)
-Track & Field (mid February thru mid May)
Having said that, tryouts that start this week are as follows:
Baseball – Tuesday (TOMORROW) 8/16 from 3-4:30pm at Glen Park and Thursday 8/18 from 3-4:30pm at Glen Park    (1st official game is on Thursday 8/25)
Softball – Wednesday 8/17 from 2:30-3:30pm at Glen Park and Monday 8/22 from 3-4:30pm at Glen Park    (1st official game is on Friday 9/2)
Boys Soccer – Wednesday 8/17 from 3:30-5pm at Crocker Amazon #1C/1D and Friday from 3:30-5pm at Crocker Amazon #5C/5D   (1st official match is on Friday 9/2)
Please have your athletes prepared with hydration and the proper gear for the sport they are trying out for (cleats are not required for Baseball and Softball tryouts). Rosters will be determined by Friday 8/19 for Baseball and Boys Soccer and Wednesday 8/24 for Softball.  Team rosters will be posted on the office and gym doors and information will be sent out to parents.
Please make sure to have the proper forms filled out and signed in order for your athletes to participate.  And as always, if you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
