Rooftop Family:

We hope that you had a fun, restful Spring Break with family and friends! There are many exciting things lined up as we head into the home stretch of the school year! Please be sure to pay close attention to updates in the Wednesday Bulletin, Parent Square, School Loop, Facebook, and Twitter for the latest information!

Speaking of communication, we apologize for sending two automated messages on the same day prior to the break. That was a miscommunication on our part and should not happen in the future. We want to make sure you stay informed of school happenings and also do not want to be overly annoying. So, moving forward, we will make an effort to limit our automated messages and we will not send them during the school day unless there is an emergency. In the event that you only want to receive emergency calls, please notify Joel or Rosalinda and we will make that change in the system.

One exciting upcoming event is Rooftop’s participation in the Maker Faire being held at Presidio Middle School on Sunday, April 17 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.! The goals of the Maker Faire are: Learn by doing: Enjoy plenty of opportunities for hands-on DIY, Make new connections: Experience genuine community building through person to person sharing, teaching and learning, and: Leave inspired: Have fun, try something new and take these ideas home with you. Partners at the Faire include: Salesforce, Scrap, The Exploratorium, TechShop, and many more!

As a reminder, please do your best to get your child to school every day and on time. Truancy letters are generated automatically after three unexcused absences and/or when your child is more than 30 minutes late to school nine times. In the event that you get a truancy letter in error, please contact Joel or Rosalinda and they will assist you in correcting the error. We apologize for the formality of the computer-generated notices.

With much gratitude,

Jeff & Tiffany
