Thank you to everyone who turned out to make this year’s auction such a huge success! We appreciate all that you do to support our work here at Rooftop! A very special thank you to the Auction Committee for their tireless effort in putting together this amazing event! Well done!
We encourage you to please take a moment to fill out SFUSD’s family survey. As we mentioned previously, this family survey is part of the School Quality Improvement Index and is one way we are measuring the Culture and Climate of our school. The information collected here will be one of the data points used to evaluate Rooftop’s overall performance.

“The fundamental premise of restorative practices is that people are happier, more cooperative and productive, and more likely to make positive changes when those in authority do things WITH them, rather than TO them or FOR them.” ~Ted Wachtel, The International Institute for Restorative Practices
Check out this video of student voices discussing their participation in community-building circles, one valuable restorative practice tool: http://goo.gl/NywM1h

The National Football League (NFL) will be sponsoring nine new trees to help “green” the Mayeda campus! Keep an eye out for volunteers from Friends of the Urban Forest to plant the trees at the beginning of April!
With much gratitude,
