Rooftop Family:

Many thanks to Rooftop parent, Oscar Peña, for working with the administrative team to organize our Latino Parent Group! We had our first meeting last Thursday, and we look forward to the exciting work ahead!

As you may know, SFUSD has adopted the use of Restorative Practices in our schools via Board Resolution No. 96-23A1 (you can read the full text here:

Restorative Practices (RP) promote strengthened relationships and community building while providing meaningful and supported opportunities for all members of our school community to share the responsibility for making our school a safe and nurturing environment.

Restorative Practices (RP) are based on principles and processes that emphasizes the importance of positive relationships as central to building school community and restoring relationships when harm has occurred.
