Looking for something fun to do with the family this Friday night? Check out the opening night festivities of the Children’s Film Festival.
There will be two screenings that evening at 5pm and 7:30 pm and an Opening Night Party in between, which will feature music, food, drink, and family art activities, including a shadow puppet workshop hosted by Rooftop’s Art Committee!
The screenings will be at the Letterman Digital Arts Center (LucasArts in the Presidio) and the party is at the nearby San Francisco Film Centre. 5 pm’s screening is “Sammy’s Adventures” (an egg-to-old-age animated saga of a sea turtle’s story), a film great for all ages. 7:30 pm’s screening is “Tales of the Night”, a silhouette-inspired animation in French with subtitles, so better for kids 10 and up.
