Earlier this year, local tech company Yelp generously donated a fleet of Mac Mini computers that they were replacing at their offices, and Rooftop has gone through the process of having the district set these up with all the software they need; we are now ready to start rolling them out to our classrooms to replace the 10-11 year old eMac desktop computers currently in use.
One difference between these Mac Minis and the old eMacs is that each Mac Mini needs its own separate monitor; before purchasing monitors, we wanted to ask the community if anyone has any older flat panel computer monitors that they could donate. We are specifically looking for 19″ or larger slim flat panel monitors that have either VGA or DVI connections. If you think you might have a monitor in good working condition that you could donate, please email Rooftop Teacher Aaron Weis at email@example.com with the make/model of the monitor or a couple of quick pictures. Please wait for a confirmation from him before bringing in any monitors. Thank you!
