From the Office of Housing Opportunity, Partnerships and Engagement:

Are you wondering what to do with extra Halloween candy that went unused?

“At the Crossroads” is an organization that provides outreach and services to homeless and disconnected young people in our City, especially in the Mission and Tenderloin. Every year, they reach out for donations of unused candy.  They make small goodie bags with the candy to engage young people on the street to start a conversation and hopefully make a connection for services.  Here is some information from the At the Crossroads website:

If you have unused candy that you would like to contribute, please drop it off at the main office.

Thanks so much for your help!
