Congratulations on receiving your SFUSD placement letter with your child’s assignment to Rooftop School. We hope your student will thrive at Rooftop during the next nine years of school life. We look forward to meeting you soon!
What now? Please register your student for our school using the following resources; we hope these will be valuable as you familiarize yourself with the school community.
Rooftop Registration
All new families must register their student in person at Rooftop School. Please follow the directions on the assignment letter that was mailed to you by the SFUSD. If you do not register your student at school by the deadline of April 12, you risk losing your student’s spot at Rooftop. NOTE: the PTA online signups below for the Parent Directory and eBulletin do NOT substitute for registering your student at school!

Sign up for the Rooftop Directory
To ensure you receive all of the information you need, we ask you to visit our Parent Directory signup page. You will need your school assignment letter from the SFUSD (specifically, your student’s SFUSD ID number). The information you provide for the directory will be used by the PTA to communicate with your family regarding events – including Kindergarten Orientation and play dates – that will happen before school begins on August 19, 2013. In our ongoing attempt to conserve paper and reduce waste at Rooftop, details about these events will only be sent by e-mail.
Sign up for the Rooftop School Newsletter
Sign up for the School Bulletin
Can’t wait to read Rooftop’s weekly newsletters about events, activities, meetings and updates? Be sure to sign up for our our school newsletter (aka, Rooftop Announcements) now so that you are in the know. NOTE: when prompted to select a “Class of 20xx,” incoming Kinder 2013-14 parents should select Class of 2022 (along with any other grades for siblings already attending Rooftop).
Take a look at our Volunteer sign-up form
We are fortunate to have an active and involved parent community at Rooftop. Without our volunteers and donors, we could not run many of the wonderful enrichment programs that are funded by the PTA, such as Sensory Motor, Garden, Art, Library, Computers, Outdoor Ed, Tutoring and resources for specialized services. We welcome all new families to take a look at our volunteer form and to think of ways in which you can contribute to the school. We all have talents, what is yours?
