Rooftop parents receive our school newsletter & associated flyers via the weekly Wednesday Bulletin (or WB, for short). Currently the WB is distributed in both paper and electronic form, although, as part of our school’s greening & conservation initiative, the PTA is piloting a program to allow families to opt-out of the paper packet.
Rooftop’s email bulletin service is called the Rooftop Announcements (RA). In addition to distributing the WB newsletter via email, the RA is also used to send out timely notices of school & community activities, fundraising, etc. Note that this is a low-traffic list sending out only school or PTA-approved material, so no need to worry about inbox inundation 
We strongly recommend all Rooftop parents subscribe to the Rooftop Announcements eBulletin so that you’re certain to receive important school announcements & updates. If you do not have computer access, you will still receive a paper version of the Wednesday Bulletin in your child’s school envelope each week.
Finally, you can always keep abreast of school news, announcements and events from the website; just visit www.rooftopk8.org and select Communication > Announcements.
