Parents of 3rd-8th grade students:

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is the statewide assessment system used by California public schools. The CAASPP program is intended to provide information used to monitor student progress and help them succeed, ensuring that all students leave high school ready for college and career. SFUSD students in grades 3-8 and 11 will participate in CAASPP testing beginning in March 2017.

Please take a moment to read the attached letter (translations included in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Tagalog) regarding this year’s State testing. Contained in this letter, you will find practice questions that you can review. At Rooftop School, we will begin testing after Spring Break. We will send more details about testing as we approach the starting date.
