Hallway Auction in Progress
The first round of the Hallway Auction closed on Tuesday, March 25th. The remaining unsold TANGIBLE items are available to bid on in the Hallway Auction until 9am on April 11th. Bids sheets are posted on the wall outside the MPR. Pictures of most items are available via our online catalog: http://auction.rooftopk8.org/catalog. You can also stop by the Auction room to see the item in person.
Mini Auction at the PTA Mtg
Unsold CERTIFICATES will be up for bid at the PTA General Meeting to be held at the Mayeda Campus starting at 4pm, Wednesday, March 26th. This mini Auction will include certificates and sporting event tickets that were turned in too late to include on Auction night. If you are not able to make the General Mtg but would like to arrange for a proxy bid, please contact Verna Liza Caba at 415.729.4581 or firstname.lastname@example.org before 4pm on March 26th.
Who Won The Raffle
Tickets for the raffle are still on sale. Please see Verna Liza in the Auction room for tickets ($10 for 2, $20 for 5, $40 for 15. A special ticket for the iPad mini is $10 each) or buy them at the PTA General Mtg. If you purchased ticket(s) on Auction night, KEEP YOUR TICKET(S). Winners will be selected on March 26th at the PTA meeting to be held at Mayeda. You do not need to be present to win (just make sure we have your contact info).
How did we do
Invoices with a pay pal link were emailed to our guests at 9:44pm on Auction night. Of the $109, 541 invoiced amount, we have $9128 in outstanding invoices. If you have not checked out or paid for your winning items, please forward your payment to the Burnett office, Attn: Auction, ASAP or use the pay pal link in your invoice email. Our Auction revenue goal is $150K, so please support the Hallway Auction, the Post Auction sale at March 26th PTA meeting at Mayeda, sign up for a party or event, and give what you can to Rooftop.
How can I give to Rooftop
It is never too late to donate to Rooftop and there are different ways you give: Checks or cash (made out out to Rooftop PTA), in an envelope marked Attn: AUCTION can forwarded to your child’s teacher or dropped off at the Burnett Office. Click on the yellow donate now button to make credit card donations online: http://auction.rooftopk8.org/donate-now/. Support our fund a need: http://auction.rooftopk8.org/fund-a-need/. To celebrate your child’s birthday, graduation or to mark a special family occasion, please consider making a gift to Rooftop PTA in honor of your Rooftop student(s) or alumni.
What is a corporate match program
Many employers have matching gifts programs which provide employees with the opportunity to enhance your charitable contributions – doubling or tripling your impact! Please contact your company’s Human Resource department for eligibility requirements. It’s possible that your employer may give the same or double the amount you donated to our school.
When can I pick up my items
If you did not pick up items you’ve won on Auction night, please see Verna Liza Caba in the Auction room at the Burnett MPR. We are still unpacking and sorting merchandise so please wait until after March 24th to arrange for pick up. Certificates and smaller items that have been paid for may be sent home to you via your child’s back pack.
When is the Auction room Open
Starting March 24th, Auction office hours for pick up, questions, and reconciliation will be Mondays: 8am-3pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 8-1:30pm and Thursdays: 8am – 4pm, or by appointment after April 11th.
Can I still sign up for a party
Yes, there are several parties that have available slots. Look out for an online sign up to be published soon or come by the MPR and add your name to the list.
