1) Mobile Check Out Available
Reduce your time at check out and have more time to celebrate! Electronic invoices will be emailed to our guests after Live Auction is complete and you will have an opportunity to make electronic payments via your mobile devices. Credit card payments and electronic transactions via PayPal are subject to handling surcharges. Rounding up your invoice total and donating cash at check out are highly encouraged. After making your payment, head over to the Merchandise Distribution area located in the Gallery, show proof of payment on your mobile device and pick up the items you’ve won. Merchandise Distribution Volunteers can also provide hard copies of invoices. We encourage print outs for invoices with 2 or more pages.
2)Bid Above Value
Bid sheets for all items will now include printed prices above estimated fair market value. Bidding above value will ensure your success of winning an item at the Rooftop Auction!
Our donation inventory is VERY LOW! Current donations received to date: 747 (catalog value $99,488). We need to have a minimum of 1000 items (catalog value $185,000+) in order to reach our revenue goals this year. To donate or pledge online: http://auction.rooftopk8.org/. You are invited to the biggest party of the year: The 21st Annual Rooftop Auction and Children’s Art Show. This adult only event is on March 15, 2014 at the Hall of Flowers (aka County Fair Building) in Golden Gate Park. Tickets are $40/person. Come and join us for friendly bidding, good food, live music and dancing, chocolate tastings, and more! Doors open to the public at 5:00 pm.
