Fund a Need Update

20 document readers and digital projectors, 20 classrooms, $20,000 was our goal to fund a need that is the #1 request of teachers surveyed. We are $11,000 short of our goal.  If you would still like to donate to the campaign, you may do so on our auction website’s Fund-A-Need page.  For contributions greater than $100, please consider writing a check to Rooftop PTA to avoid paying surcharge/processing fee. Checks may be turned in to your child’s teacher or mailed to Rooftop Alternative K-8 School at 443 Burnett Avenue, SF, 94131. Thank you!

Corporate Matching Fund Program

For those who made a cash donation at the Auction or for those considering giving to Rooftop PTA, please check with your employer’s HR department.  Many businesses and corporations participate in a matching fund program where they will also contribute to Rooftop an equal amount you have donated.

Balance Due

Invoices are being sent this week for guests who left early and did not check out at the Auction or for those who still have an outstanding balance due.  Please settle your account(s) asap so that we can accurately track our progress towards our goal of $150K.  Payments can be made online via credit card or pay pal or checks payable to Rooftop PTA can be sent to the Burnett office:  Rooftop Alternative K8 School, attn: Auction, 443 Burnett Avenue, SF, 94131. Where Can I Pick My Items

Items won will be available for pick up at the Auction office (back of the MPR, through the kitchen, room 110B).  Auction office hours will be Mondays, 8am to 9am and 1:50 – 2:30pm, Thursdays, 8am to 9am and 1:50 to 4pm.  Items for pick up are also available by appointment.  Contact Verna Liza at 415.729.4581 or info@rooftopauction.org.

Post Auction Sale

If you were not able to attend our gala event last Saturday, we certainly missed you and hope that you’ll be able to join us next year.  If you were busy catching up with friends or making new acquiantances and did not have time to bid on items, have no fear.  A post auction sale will be announced after spring break for items unsold and items turned in at the last minute (yes, certificates have straggled into our mail box after March 9th!).  There are lots of great items under Parties and Event Sign Ups, Kids & Sports, Tickets, Restaurants, Professional Services, and Rooftop logo wear waiting for your bids.
