Auction Thank You’s

Thank you for donating, volunteering, supporting and attending Rooftop’s 20th Annual Auction and Children’s Art Show.  It was an incredible evening of tasty food (by Zuni – Rymee Trobaugh, Saha – Marmee Aboghanem, Good Food Catering – Dontaye Ball, Mission Mini – Brandon and Kara Arnovick), unlimited drinks (Jonathan Nicolas of John Hancock Financial Network, Anchor Brewery and Lagunitas) entertaining live music by the Reanimators (Bill and Hilary Craddock), lively bidding and good company!

The list is long and we will soon post names at our auction website. In the meantime, a special thank you to everyone who participated and became involved with the auction including administration, faculty, staff, room parents, art parents, and all who answered the call to volunteer at the auction for solicitations, merchandise receiving, check-in/out, audio and tech support, decorations, set up, clean up, transportations and logistics, kitchen, bar, catalog and program, graphics, inputting and editing. We succeed because we come together as a community!

If you have already sent in your queries, please know that we will respond as quickly as possible after we have completed our reconciliation and recorded payments.

Post Auction Sale

If you were not able to attend our gala event last Saturday, we certainly missed you and hope that you’ll be able to join us next year.  If you were busy catching up with friends or making new acquiantances and did not have time to bid on items, have no fear.  A post auction sale will be announced shortly for items unsold and items turned in at the last minute. There are lots of GREAT items waiting for your bids. Stay tuned!

Fund a Need Update

20 document readers and digital projectors, 20 classrooms, $20,000 was our goal to fund a need that is the #1 request of teachers surveyed. We are $11,000 short of our goal.  If you would still like to donate to the campaign, you may do so on our auction website’s Fund-A-Need page.  For contributions greater than $100, please consider writing a check to Rooftop PTA to avoid paying surcharge/processing fee. Checks may be turned in to your child’s teacher or mailed to Rooftop Alternative K-8 School at 443 Burnett Avenue, SF, 94131. Thank you!
