The Contemporary Jewish Museum, the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, and the San Francisco Unified School District are pleased to announce the third annual Ezra Jack Keats Bookmaking Competition on the West Coast! The Bookmaking Competition promotes the art and craft of original bookmaking in the classroom, and invites SFUSD students in grades K–12 to design, write, and create their own books.

With over 40 books submitted this year, the art committee had a really tough time narrowing down the official entries. The San Francisco Public Library has requested that all books submitted be part of their upcoming book making display. Please see the attached flyer for all the names of the official entries and all the names of the book makers participating in the SFPL display.
